What exactly do readers get?

Readers who are subscribed to our list get access to the collection and a curated email introduction to the authors in it. The format varies slightly by collection, but the core experience is the same: a themed group of romance titles from authors we've vetted, delivered to readers who signed up specifically to find new books.

Do I need to write something new, or can I use a backlist title?

Both options exist. Some collections, particularly year-long ones, feature exclusive short stories written specifically for that brand. Others accept backlist titles that fit the theme. The listing for each collection will specify which format it uses. If you're not sure whether your existing work fits, just ask.

How long does a short story need to be?

Four chapters is the sweet spot. That's typically somewhere between 8,000 and 15,000 words depending on your chapter length. Long enough to be a complete, satisfying story with real heat.

How long does a novel need to be?

Generally at least 50,000 words.

Are there any off-limits topics?

We aren’t here to judge! That said, we don’t deal in books that have underage sex, incest, rape, or bestiality.

What happens if I miss my submission deadline?

We'll reach out before the deadline to check in and flag any issues. If something comes up, communicate early. Last-minute surprises are harder to work around than problems we know about in advance. Your purchase of the collection is non-refundable.

How Do you handle refunds?

The collections are generally non-refundable. Contact us for more information.

Can I be in more than one collection at once?

Yes, with some caveats. We ask that you don't participate in two collections that overlap significantly in theme or timing, because the goal is reader discovery and we want your placement to feel fresh. Our coordinator will flag any conflicts when you apply.

I have a small list. Is that a problem?

Not for our Hidden Gem collections, which are specifically designed for authors who are building. For our standard collections, there's no list size minimum. We're promoting to our list, not asking you to bring one of your own.

How do I get paid? Is there a revenue share?

There's no revenue share. You pay for your spot and the promotional value is yours to keep. Any readers you gain from the collection are your readers. Any sales your book generates are your sales. We're a promotional service, not a co-publishing arrangement.

What genres do you accept?

We're a romance-focused platform. So far, we’ve focused on contemporary romance, dark romance, sports romance, billionaire romance, and erotic romance. Paranormal romance, fantasy romance, historical romance stories are not considered for our lists yet, but may be in the future. Erotica without a plot is generally not a fit for our reader list. If you're not sure, ask before you apply.

How far in advance should I apply?

For year-long collections with exclusive short stories, as early as possible. We open those slots twelve months before the collection launches. For monthly standalones, three months in advance is a comfortable lead time. For Hidden Gem collections, keep an eye on our author interest list because those fill fast.
