Who We Are
Love Letters to Romance started because newsletter magnets work, and getting good ones into the hands of readers who actually want them is harder than it should be.
We built a list of 60,000 romance readers over several years. These are readers who opted in specifically for romance discovery. They're not casual browsers. They signed up because they wanted to find new authors, and they open our emails because we've never sent them garbage.
That list is what we're offering you access to.
Who runs this
Love Letters to Romance is run by Vivian Wood and Danielle Leigh.
Vivian
Vivian is a WSJ, USAT, and Amazon bestselling romance author with over 110 published titles and fifteen years in indie publishing. She built this reader list the same way she built her own, one genuine connection at a time. She uses the service regularly.
She's not selling you something she wouldn't buy herself. Every collection we run is something she'd want her own work in.
Danielle
Danielle is the founder of Spellbound Stories and a lifelong romance reader. Her passion for literature and keen eye for detail led her to spend the last decade immersed in the indie publishing world, assisting romance authors with reader engagement, newsletter growth, and community building.
She approaches every collection from both the reader and industry side because she genuinely lives in both worlds. If a promo lands in a Love Letters to Romance collection, it’s because it’s the kind of book she’d stay up way too late reading herself.
What We Actually Care About
We care that the authors who participate feel like it was worth it. That means keeping the reader list warm and engaged, running collections that feel curated instead of dumped, and treating authors like the creative professionals they are.
We're not trying to be the biggest thing in romance promotion. We're trying to be the most useful thing for the authors who are right for this.
