Hidden Gem Collections — Reduced Rate

A few times a year, we run collections specifically for authors with smaller lists. Because these authors may have smaller lists, the reader outreach isn’t the same as a typical collection. The reduced rate is our way of making sure newer authors can access the same promotional opportunities as established ones. If you're building your list and need exposure more than you need to keep your costs down, this is probably the collection for you.

Apply for a Collection

You pay for a spot in a collection. Each author promotes to their own newsletter. We send the collection to 60,000 romance readers. Your book gets in front of people who are actively looking for their next read. Everybody wins.

The Slightly Longer Version

We run two types of collections. Year-long collections are ongoing branded series where a new author is featured each month for twelve months. Monthly standalone collections are themed one-off collections that run for a single month. Both formats include reader list promotion and social media content.

The Short Version

Year-Long Collections — $450 per slot

This is our premier content. We offer a few spots per year for the entire 12-month calendar to run January 1st to December 31st. We ask each author to write a new short story of 5000-15000 words, branded to the theme we’ve chosen.

You get a monthly placement in a collection that runs the full calendar year. Your story goes out to our full reader list during your assigned month, alongside social media promotion. The collection has an established brand identity that readers recognize and trust, which means they're already primed to read! Every month, readers are given a landing page with all the previous stories + the new story on it, so you’ll receive new mailing list signups every single month.

Because this collection features exclusive short stories, we open enrollment well in advance. If you're writing something new for the collection, you'll have plenty of runway.

Monthly Collections — $250 per slot

Every month, we run standalone themed collections with a fresh group of authors. You contribute a backlist title that fits the theme, and we promote the whole collection to our reader list for that month. It's a single commitment with a clear start and end date, which is nice if the year-long format isn't the right fit right now.

What You Need to Participate

A romance title that fits the collection theme. Payment at the time of enrollment. For exclusive short story collections, the ability to deliver a finished story by the submission deadline.
